8 students from 4 Genetic partner schools were featured in ABSCBN showcasing their skills in Robotics...
In celebration of FIRE PREVENTION MONTH, these students presented their Firefighter Robots in the "Inventions" segment of the morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda". Hosted by no less than Mr. Kim Atienza,the students assembled and programmed their robots in such a way they must detect candlelights (the fire) on the playfield. Once the fire is detected, the robots will turn on their fans to the put the candlelights off.
These students are the winners of the Firefighter Robotics Challenge in the recently concluded Genetic I.T. Olympiad held last January 30, 2009 at UP College of Engineering:
